Michelle B. Baker received her B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Juris Doctor from University of San Diego. Having been interested in the practice of law since an early age, Ms. Baker worked in law firms, including the District Attorney office, since high school. Her experience has been in both boutique civil litigation firms as well as large insurance defense firms where Ms. Baker was involved in complex litigation matters including high profile business litigation, cross-border fraudulent transfer actions and numerous multi-million dollar business disputes.
In 2002, Ms. Baker formed Baker & Cerretani, LLP. Although the firm’s name has changed, Ms. Baker has continuously represented many of her clients for nearly a decade. Currently, Ms. Baker is a partner at Baker Law Group, LLP, a civil litigation law firm.
Ms. Baker focuses her practice on representing employees in a broad range of legal issues, including: disability discrimination, unpaid wages and overtime, pregnancy discrimination, meal and rest period violations, unlawful retaliation, and workplace violence issues.
Ms. Baker is a member of the Business Law and Labor and Employment Law sections of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association. She is also a current member of the California Employment Lawyers Association. Ms. Baker has conducted numerous seminars for various business and professional organizations on business and employment law issues.
She considers both San Diego and Luhacovice, Czech Republic home. Ms. Baker has spent time speaking to children on the importance of education. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation and previously sat on Board of Directors for Youth Tennis of San Diego, which has provided thousands of children a safe haven for after school activities.

Kelsey Aliabadi is from the San Fernando Valley and has lived in San Diego since 2015. Kelsey graduated from San Diego State University with degrees in Political Science and Communication. She also received a certificate in Public Law. Thereafter, she continued her studies in law at California Western School of Law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 5% of her class.
Having worked for the San Diego District Attorney and in several areas of the law including family and insurance subrogation, Kelsey brings a wide variety of experience. She is passionate about representing employees and growing her knowledge in all areas of employment law.
